Voting Defiance
Uncle Andy points us to this Drudge report claiming that a Defiance man was given crack to register voters. Uncle Tony sent along this Yahoo! news story about the same incident. Mary Poppins would be shocked!

More Ash
There's more ash falling in our area, but this time it's coming all the way from Yolo county. This article from the local paper talks about it. Pretty strange. At least it's not from a volcano (yet!).

Hello! Welcome to my new web site! This is where I'll be posting photos, links, and other fun for family.
This page is built with MovableType, which is software for weblogging. If you've heard of "blogs" and "bloggers", this is the kind of thing they're talking about. Each entry I post here will appear at the top of the home page. As I make more posts, they'll each appear at the top, moving the previous posts down the page and into the archives (which you can get to using the links in the right column here).
You can also comment on these posts. However, to do that you'll need to go get a TypeKey acccount. You can do that here. TypeKey sets up a "key" with a username and password you choose. Then when you comment on my weblog here (or other weblogs), it will ask for your username and password. By limiting comments only to people who have registered with TypeKey, I can prevent comment "spam" - abusive comments left by spammers who only want to get their links seen. If people make abusive comments while registered with TypeKey, the folks at TypeKey can block them from commenting on all registered weblogs.
You don't have to register with TypeKey to read this website or browse around and see what's posted -- you only need it if you want to leave comments.
